I learned how to use the bus system in Funchal! And by that I mean I rode it successfully once and almost got on the wrong bus... My assumption that bus drivers aren't the friendliest in any country stands but the locals have been very friendly and helpful! I did manage to accomplish my goals from my last post including finding soy sauce

I also realized that this is the first time I've lived in a country where I am obviously a foreigner. I've lived for extended periods of time in various places in the US, Shanghai and Taipei. I supposed that in Asia I can pass off as a local pretty easily. My fashion doesn't stand out much anywhere..
