I live on a hill

I thought I'd be used to the hills since I've lived a couple of years in San Francisco.. but then again I live in the Mission District which is known as the flattest district in SF (also the warmest!). Yesterday, I walked to a restaurant that was about a 45 minute walk downhill and was dreading the way back up. What I know now is that I will be very fit by the time this year is up :)

Today, I have a couple of tasks I want to accomplish: 

• Find an ATM and take out more money
• Find a GIRO machine to buy a bus card
• Find a supermarket with an international section that includes soy sauce(can't live without it)! 
• Pack for Paris (I did not realize that I'm pretty much leaving tomorrow night!)

This is already my third day in Madeira, and jetlag is still killing me.
